“El Elegido” cuenta la historia de Andrés (Pablo Echarri) un ambicioso y soberbio abogado, casado con Verónica (Leticia Bredice) y padre de una niña autista.
Andrés sueña con asociarse con Oscar Nevares Sosa (Lito Cruz), uno de los dueños del estudio de abogados donde trabaja.
Por haber ganado un juicio, a Andrés lo premian con un viaje a España que le cambiará la vida para siempre. Allá no solo se encuentra con Mariana (Paola Krum), una abogada idealista por la que sentirá una atracción irresistible, sino que también asitirá a un encuentro místico con un líder de una “Logia Masónica”.
El socio de Oscar muere repentinamente. Al producirse la vacante, Andrés presupone que será el elegido para ocupar ese lugar. Sin embargo, Oscar, con toda su perversión, decide que cualquiera de los abogados del staff del bufete podría serlo y los pone a competir salvajemente para ver quién de los cuatro es realmente capaz de lograrlo. La única que queda afuera de la competencia es Mariana cuyo objetivo principal no es su crecimiento profesional sino averiguar la verdad sobre la muerte de su padre.
Andrés deberá pasar por una innumerable cantidad de pruebas para salir de la cueva en la que él mismo se metió, al tiempo que corre los riesgos más extremos, como el de perder a su familia, su dignidad y a la mujer que ama.
